$58,000 Donation to Support Medical Education around the World
 
Norfolk, Va. (June 18, 2010) -- Brighton, a nationally-distributed accessories line, took action towards the
dream of peace by creating a limited-edition Peace Charming bracelet, with a portion of proceeds from sale of
the bracelet benefitting the Hampton Roads-based charity Physicians for Peace. This is the second year in the
row Physicians for Peace is honored to have been chosen by Brighton to participate in their Peace Charming
bracelet fundraising campaign.
 
Physicians for Peace carries out medical education, training and clinical care throughout the developing world.
The partnership resulted in a $58,000 donation to the organization. The limited-edition Peace Charming
bracelet was available from January 15 to February 14, 2010 at national retailers, including several retailers in
the Hampton Roads area. For every Peace Charming bracelet purchased at a Brighton Collectibles store,
Brighton donated up to $10 to one of four charities, chosen by the purchaser, which shares Brighton consumers'
vision of peace. Brighton donated $5 for bracelets purchased at participating retailers, and encouraged those
retailers to match the company's donation.
